Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that the browser stores on the user's device. They often contain an anonymous, unique identifier that allows us to identify and count the browsers that visit our site. If you publish an article or edit an existing one, we store a cookie in the browser that contains the ID of the article to be edited. The cookie expires in one day.

We use third-party cookies to collect user data with an analytics tool. We use the tool to optimize our website and provide you with relevant marketing materials. Third-party cookies come from social media channels such as Facebook and Instagram. We use third-party cookies that monitor traffic between websites to provide you with ads and information about our activity through other websites and channels.

Comments

When users of the website leave comments on the site, we collect the information on the comments form, as well as the user's IP address and browser version to help identify spam.

When visitors leave a comment on this site, we collect the information displayed in the comment fields, including the IP address and information related to the browser version. Anonymized hash information created from an email address can be sent to the Gravatar service to know if the commenter is a user of the service. Media

If you upload images to this site, you should avoid uploading images containing location information (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and view location information from the images on the site.

Embedded content from other websites

The articles on this website may contain embedded content (for example videos, pictures, articles etc.). Opening embedded content integrated from another website is comparable to the visitor visiting third party websites.

These sites may collect information from you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking cookies and track interaction with embedded content, including the tracking of interaction if and when you are signed in as a user.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata will be retained for the time being. This is done so that we can automatically recognize and approve the following comments instead of keeping them in the moderation queue.

We store user profile information for registered users (if any). All users can view, edit and delete their own personal information at any time. Only the username cannot be changed. Webmasters can view and edit user profile information.

What rights you have to your personal data

If you have a user account on this site or have left comments, you may request a summary file of your personal data, including any personal data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. The right to delete your own data does not apply to personal data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security reasons.
