In the summer, Inner Wheel in Nurmijärvi made a considerable 10 000 euro donation to support Life Education Finland's work in primary schools in Nurmijärvi. Through the donation we will be able to take our health education and substance abuse prevention program to a larger number of schools in the area. Currently 13 schools and 2 kindergartens in Nurmijärvi take part in the program. Soon we may be able to reach all children in Nurmijärvi's 20 schools!
The donation was presented by treasurer Maritta Orava (left) and 2019-2020 president Raija Lampiselkä (middle) and received by our executive director Sami Teikko (right).
